We were not disappointed. The whole Tarraleah 'village' experience is unusual and unique. The food and restaurant were excellent.
The ambience really depends on the other guests staying at Tarraleah at the same time during your stay, which we found varied from night to night as most people seemed to stay for just one night. You could end up chatting so much that you need to get the staff to join the tables together when you get to the restaurant or you can have a quiet night to your selves.
It was really the quality of the staff that set Tarraleah apart in our experience. All in all, superb, friendly yet unobtrusive service in peaceful surroundings.
