Feeding the Cows

The cows are not a fierce as they look and will eat from your hand, but take care with those horns. You can buy cownuts from reception and if you shake the bag at the cows they will understand you are a friend. If you’re a bit nervous (understandably) then ask at reception and one of the brave staff will come with you.

You can always stand on the other side of the fence..and be safe but still able to have that up close and personal feel. Please see reception for cattle feeding times.

Playground, Oval and Village Green

Tarraleah offers acres of space for kids to play.

There is a fully equipped playground behind Scholars House with swings, cubby and sandpit.

If you're feeling more energetic call into reception and pick up a kite, soccer ball or boules set and play on the Village Green or wander across to the oval so you can practice those big kicks!

Squash

Feeling energetic? Need to work off some energy before dinner?A squash court is located on the estate at the rear of the Great Hall.

Rackets and balls are available from reception. To book the courts please dial Reception on 101.

Price including racket and ball hire is $30 for one hour.

Table Tennis

Not much in life is free..but table tennis is

Collect a key to the great hall From Reception and enjoy a game of table tennis.

Visit the orphans

Sadly, from time to time, Tarraleah staff find orphaned wildlife.

When you visit find out if we have any new additions to the nursery.
